Hi, my name is Paul and I'm a seasoned traveller but not your standard traveller.​

I'm certainly not your typical Brit Abroad, whose idea of a holiday is "Britain by the Sea" scoffing fish and chips and drinking in an English bar, even if it's in Spain.

Indeed any beach holiday is my idea of hell - actually let me qualify that, there's nothing more delightful than strolling along a quiet beach but lounging on a beach all day is an absolute no no.

This site has reviews of places I've visited, good and bad - don't expect sugar coating - if I don't like a place I will certainly say so.

A big surprise for me is I've discovered cruising. Before April 2017, I was one of those who would only go on a cruise "over my dead body" - I then went on a mini cruise and have now been on a dozen cruises.
