I'm a person who loves travelling and I have been fortunate enough to have visited many places over the years. Like most tourists I have relied on guide books when visiting somewhere new and they are fine, to a point.

However I find it frustrating they tend to concentrate too much on ancient monuments and churches .... I like to explore where the locals go.

Don't you also find the tourist guides tend to be saccharine coated, only showing the good side of places, sometimes the reality is very much different.

 

So I have produced a travel guide with a difference. It isn’t comprehensive but it hopefully covers places that will interest the normal visitor, also my reviews and guides are anything but saccharine coated – if a place is rubbish I will say so.
